How do you handle phone calls from telemarketers?
Generally, we don’t answer the phone if we don’t recognize the number. Our theory is if whoever is calling wants us that bad, they’ll leave a message. Telemarketers rarely leave messages.
If one has been phoning relentlessly, I’ll probably eventually pick it up and tell them that I’m just not interested. Telemarketing is a terrible job, but there’s no reason to be rude to them.
