This picture means that I owe Sean an apology. He told me about this statistic last week. I figured he was just complaining cuz he was working too hard at the time. Turns out he was right.
AMAPCEO (The Association of Management, Administrative and Professional Crown Employees of Ontario) is currently negotiating a new collective agreement with the government (their employer). The existing agreement expired on March 31, 2006.
I suppose that’s why these ads are coming out now.
You know, this makes me wonder. Almost everyone I know says they are, or have been paid below market for their work. Who actually pays market rates, and where can we find out about that?
