The Ministry of Natural Resources responds…

This is the Ministry of Natural Resource’s response to the fisher attack on my sister.

They’re not saying she was mistaken exactly, but this article reads to me like they sure are trying to discredit her story.

I wasn’t there, and I’ve never seen a fisher outside of Wikipedia, so I don’t know exactly what got her. The point is that something did get her, and people need to know about it so they can protect their pets and families.

Kyla plans to speak at a town council meeting tomorrow to get the word out. I think this is brave of her, especially since her opinion is so different than the Ministry’s She doesn’t want to see anyone or anyone’s pet get hurt or killed. Rabies shots hurt and are not fun to get.

If anyone has any fisher-related stories they can share (especially if you are in Southern Ontario), please leave a comment or send me a message. Thanks.
