I guess this is convergence

Thanks to Twittering and updating my status on Facebook, I’m beginning to find it difficult to write in paragraphs versus just a sentence or two. Twitter is great for sharing stuff that doesn’t really merit a longer post – no more padding out thoughts that don’t need it. Since Facebook’s status is more limiting thanks to every sentence needing to start with “melissa is…” it at least requires some thought to come up with an interesting sentence that doesn’t sound grammatically ridiculous.

Either way, if I start sounding like a PowerPoint presentation, I would appreciate it if someone would let me know. That would be terrible

I do like that all these sites seem to play nicely (or want to play nicely) with each other. My friends actually read my blog now since they can look at it on Facebook. Twittering seems more fun now that I can include it in the other social networking sites I use.

Crap, just used the phrase “social networking” and I don’t work in that industry, nor am I in the media. I think I just sounded like a PowerPoint. d’oh!
